The problem that happens very often with a series that is both an anime and a manga is one comes first and they are produced by different teams. Hellsing was originally a manga and somebody had the brilliant idea to make the anime but stop following the manga around book 4. Book 4 is when the plot starts turning into the amazing deep twisty action packed bloody pile of fan service that the series is loved for.

there is just no attention to detail in the anime. You can tell the person who made the manga poured everything he had into making things just look amazing.

Yeah, the magna version is much more desirable.

 

hehe think there would be enough interest? I need to start reading and watching like I use to in high school. I use to hook my PC up to my 32 inch LCD TV and watch all of my anime off of that.

also everyone should know that animes that have not been released in america on DVD are legal to download.

oh here is more of that detail I was talking about with hellsing's manga, this panel is an inch by 2 inches

You have no idea what a train wreck helling's anime is, I watched it but I'd never watch it again.

oh I almost forgot, If anybody does watch Evangelion the end had the author getting piles of death threats, it was that crappy. So he made a horrible movie to make the fans even more upset, he blows everybody up at the end as a nice big screw you guys.

Hellsing is usually either that sexy or just as violent, there is usually either blood, big guns or sexy people (guys and girls are equally attractive in this series) or both on every page.

also Evangelion is an anime and a manga, they are very different but both good. You don't get the same feeling from the manga so I'd definitely suggest you watch the anime first.

 

looks like the library has both, cool, I'll check them out as well.

yeah, yeah. i just got on. some little free moments at home. crappy football games on tv here. my car is back from the shop but now frozen to the snow on the street. 10 pages here since my last visit. busy bees.

I see I got a custom title. It almost rocks. So very close. Oh, what the heckes, it rocks.

 

I just use the local bought ASR brand. The walgreens.. CVS.. Rite aids sell them. Dave sent me a few pellas that were great. But the budget has not let me get any. But really, I get great shaves out of the store brands here.
I just shaved off over 2 days growth, and I grow a good beard, with 2 passes and some touch up. Finished with some Pinaud Special Reserve. Good stuff

I am glad Sheppy got the aftershave forum. that is my favorite shaving forum and also probably my best knowledge of shave stuff.

 

Grats on the custom titles, I must be boring because I still don't have one, oh well. I should probably be careful what I say or I'll end up with one like rolls :happy102

 

I also use the CVS blades for the Gem. good to be here the same time as you Fuzzy. me misses you.

 

Hey Jen,
what was the difference of the teas you sent? 2 little rocks and 1 big loose leaves.

 

The loose leaves were broken off of a big piece, they are raw and the little ones were fermented before they were stored for aging.

 

I am going to look at the gem at my local antique store. I make take some pics and have you tell me if it is any good or not. Thanks for the info fuzzy.
