    Wednesday shave:

This would have been an epic shave but in a moment of lost concentration, I gave myself a small cut. It is very rare to draw blood, fortunately as soon as I felt it digging in I backed off so the cut is tiny.

Jared, congrats on a great shave. Flipper.jpg Like you, I performed a night shave on Sunday, took my time, and really enjoyed it. It's fun to change things up every once in a while. The only downside was that my Bride said the Coral Skin Food made her eyes water when she came to bed. Can't win 'em all, I guess.

You have quite a nice travel kit there. Congrats on winning all the cool goodies! I look forward to reading about your impressions on each of them.

    Have a great evening!

Keith, there's something about those red scales. Just love 'em. Sorry about the cut, but I'm glad it was tiny. Unfortunately, we'll have to downgrade this shave. Flipper.jpg

Another great photo Mark. You are really nailing the Beehive Week

Well written report. Sounds like a great shave. I bet there was a huge difference with a newer blade.

Great photo and congrats on the win. That was a really nice price.

Another excellent photo and shave. Please change the brush to something less tempting. :D

My wife felt the same way about Clubman. ;) ( Admittedly I do too :D)

MMOC soldiers on. Thoughts for the day more on software. This is the first time since starting wet shaving that I'm using an alcohol after shave in lieu of my typical convoluted post shave routine -- alcohol free witch hazel, home-made balm, aloe. I like smelling like my dad for the few minutes the Old Spice lasts, but the face feels drier and this is swapping dry California for 90% humidity Cambodia. I think next year I'll bring my stuff.

I ate again at Luigi's. Fabulous home made Sicilian pasta with pesto and artichoke hearts. [IMG]

I've been looking at brushes, considering something hi end. I couldn't decide on one so I ordered a Yaqi hmw badger for $25.00 shipped from China. I don't expect to see it any time soon.

Thanks for the tips Keith. For finishing options I have a Chinese Natural, small Coti, hard black Arkansas, and 1 & .3 micron lapping film. I also have a balsa strop with CRox and FEox and a paddle stop with .5 micron diamond paste.

I haven't tried the lapping film or pasted strops yet.
