From current person perspective, I can confirm the phenomenon. One guest might be a deterrent. Having an adult daughter and three grandchildren returned home has filled every available minute of my "spare" time.

Excellent shave Jason! Better to catch up on some sleep though!

I am driving my wife to eye surgery a little later today so there was no need to rush in order to fight the Atlanta commute. It is usually me with the medical issues and procedures so today will be different. A nice relaxing shave is a great way to start the day. So I selected MdC as the software. The soap is not the best in any objective or subjective area of evaluation but I always get remarkable shaves when I use MdC. The RV Rover easily loaded and whipped up the soap. I have found the trick with MdC is to add enough water slowly. Since I had the time, I went with a three pass shave, WTG, ATG and XTG. The baby was in reach so I buffed my lower right neck and touched up my jawline and ended with an epic BBS shave. A splash of Thayer's Witch Hazel and Myrsol Agua Balsamica left me feeling and smelling fantastic. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

After tomorrow, we may be in for a heatwave through July 4. I could be rotating between Stoylin Glacial Wintergreen and Gillette Foamy Menthol during those days..we shall see.

Very nice 3 pass shave this morning. I always enjoy the scent and performance of the Cool and this OT is a solid shaver. I have a 2nd one with a thicker cap that is a little milder, I think.
    Have a great day all!

Got a moment to myself so I shaved for the first time in 4 or 5 days. Sampled this soap - very good! Easy lather with excellent residual slickness and post shave feel.
    Good shaves y'all! [IMG]

    Razor: Bakelite Gillette Tech
    Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum (1)
    Brush: VdH Boar
    Soap: Der Vergulde Hand
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

I finally retired the Dollar Store Dorco blade, after 6 shaves, in favor of its high-end brother, the Prime Platinum. I suspect that the Dollar Store blade might have had a couple more shaves in it but I was ready to move on.

Another great shave with this wartime razor.
