@Terry - Early in the minutes of S. B. O. A we broke the description barrier. Even to include the idea of applying a damp brush to dry soap as a "quick bloom". Paul's @Paul Turner 24 hour procedure is more extreme, acceptable, and applauded.

Fuzzy @wchnu - I've seen a couple High Tech Rednecks kicking around. Sounds like applied science to me. Theory only goes so far. The test is when the lather hit the beard!

I believe the POSBOA may have been misinformed....The VPOSBOA did the "quick" bloom ALMOST 24 hours before the distinguished gentleman's shave(talkinabout that of ME).

 

Only to ones who are bloomers......
