Don't often post here as I try to use a straight on a Friday, but I'm busy today, so... Fatboy Friday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave PSC Caffeinated Shave Cream Semogue SOC Gillette 195 Gillette Silver Blue CWR Thayers Peach WH Florida Water I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The PSC Caffeinated Shave Cream face-lathered well with the Semogue SOC brush. I did two passes with the Gillette 195 Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
I shaved yesterday with my Fatboy on Setting #5 for my first two passes, and Setting #3 for my third pass. Since my neck requires two additional passes, I put it back on #5 to finish. I only got two small weepers that closed up right away and afterward used my new jar of Nivea Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm. The blade was the last use of a Gillette Nacet. I got a smooth, irritation-free shave out of it, and I really like the Nacet a lot. It gave me great, close smooth shaves every time and by yesterday I had gone to my sixth or seventh on the same blade. I have to say, the Gillette brand blades are fantastic. Ordinarily I can't use the Fatboy without nicking myself up (still trying to figure out the best setting and angle on that monster), but yesterday it worked wonders, although the BBS effect didn't last as long.

1960 sure was a good year for adjustable razors. Imagine going to the store and seeing both these on display for sale. Only question is which one is getting used this Friday? F4 on the left, F1 on the right.

Rare DE and Williams shave. Broke out the SA for Friday. Nice shave with a Dorco blade from the Dollar Sto.....
Fuzzy - is that an Omega boar knot in your brush? It looks like the business end of a Omega Pro #10098! I haven't tried Bolzano blades, yet. 1959 (E-4) #195 on 9, with a Feather. Used my O'Pro-98 boar brush, too. A splash of Osage Rub, followed by Florida Water makes for a cool finish.
It is @Jayaruh turned the handle and put that knot on there. My B400 by @twhite also has a 98 pro knot in it. Just outstanding knots.
Very nice. I've got a Jayaruh handle with a synth knot. My B400 is the twin of yours. I looked for a flat top boar to match the original Rubberset but no one makes them. That Omega in my photo is a couple years old and well broken in while the newer B400 still has plenty of enjoyable scritch. As soon as it softens up I'll be thinking about getting another Pro 98 just for the fun of the break in.
Sharp, efficient, smooth and long lasting. I have a few left, PM me your address and I will send you one.
