Awesome. Mine got delivered on Saturday, but I had it shipped to my office as I thought it would be today before it got here. I don't like having packages sit outside my door, so I often ship them to work. It has been tough knowing it was here but not being able to get to it!
I think I heard or read somewhere that there is a desensitizing effect that occurs. I might like the floral and mild spice sections, but I think I'd stay clear of the dirt piles, ashtrays, misquito repellant, and hippie girl departments.
That was the video where he taught me that his last name is pronounced "Luvin" not "LoVan". Embarassed the whiskers right off me!!
The scent of one of the soap samples I got reminded me of the aroma of an an apartment I helped my dad clean out years back. The tenant was a dirty hippie girl with an affinity for cannabis and incense. That particular soap did not make the Max Headroom Glorious Stanks List. But it does have its fans. Diversity...... The beauty of Stirling.
Today I was in the Stirling citrus groves. Orange Chill Shampoo Grapefruit Bath Soap Glacial Lemony Orange Shave Soap Glacial Lemony Orange After Shave I hope you all enjoy this GL-O as much as I.
I remember another interview with Rod where he says someone else has to approve and quality check the smell of Executive Man. He's made and sold so much of it over the years that he has to get someone else's nose to make sure it's correct.
I'm one of those fans of Executive Man. Thank you PLAla for posting. I'm glad to hear that Rod is taking good care of it but I'm certain that that's the way Stirling does business with everything that they produce. They seem to do everything right IMO.
Is that right? In the "LoVan-Luvin" interview, he said without hesitation that Xecutive Man has been his best seller "by far"(his quotes).
Mtn. Man and Coniferous are two that make me say "I wonder if I oughta try that sometime". Gets the brain working y'know?
Took a little Mandarin Orange EO and added it to my Lemon Chill this morning to give myself some home made glacial lemony orange. It was nice, but I think the glacial level soaps are a bit much for me.
I think this is the interview where he talks about that, and lots of other stuff. Rod is a stand up guy.
SOTD July 2nd Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Schick Injector J1 Personna 30DCLE (26mm, Frigate Class) Dry Dock Lather Bowl Stirling Glacial Lemony Orange soap and AS I'm off work this week and I've been waiting for my Stirling package, it finally arrived! It's been a hot day here and my chores are done so why not cool down with a frozen Stirling teat! Cold water and lots of menthol were the theme of the shave. Really really like the scent of Lemony Orange. I get the sweetness of the orange in the foreground and the tartness of the lemon poking through here and there. My first glacial shave and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (my eyes only watered a little), I guess I built up my tolerances with Iced Pineapple. I also realized that I haven't used an injector in a while so the j1 got drafted this week. Have a great evening my friends! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Thanks for posting that video, its both a good and bad thing when small shops start running out of room.
