    I’ve heard that you need to stay in the driver’s seat with a Rocnel. Did you modify a GEM blade to fit?

    No the SE G is meant to use a Gem blade. The blade slides in from the side. You have to pay particular attention to centering the blade since the razor has no corner blade stops. Some people round off the corners of the Gem blades for added safety. Maybe I should as well. It’s the corners that bite me if I fail to stretch my skin properly.

    Menthol Monday!

    Yesterday's combo was so nice I did it again. Two pass shave, no touch up. I changed the direction slightly of pass two under my chin with much better results. DFS.

    I've decided I'm not a fan of the Ladas. It feels plenty sharp but it also feels harsh. I'm moving on to the next blade.
