Excellent post, Joseph! I don't know what the humidity is like in your neck of the woods but here is Colorado where we typically have 10-20% humidity stuff dries out pretty fast Amazing photo, Bruce! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
July Searching for a Focus Cremo Sandalwood cream B-400 Tuxedo synth brush Suribachi and cool water Ming Shi 2000 at 4-1/2 Personna blade Pinaud Clubman AS Sampled another Pass Around product. I've enjoyed regular & menthol in the tubes. The tubed sandalwood did not disappoint. Mild scent, easy lather, and decent performance for my first DE shave in a months time. Not sure about the exact model of blade so I'll assume its a Lab Blue / Med Prep. They've treated me right although I have others I prefer. Scored an error free DFS and finished with classic Barbershop scent. Good Shaves Y'all! Tapatalk Via Kyocera
My beard grows in different directions on my jawline. I pull up on my cheek and shave North to South on the first pass. For me, that's pretty much XTG. As I'm re-lathering my neck and jawline during the first pass, I'll shave along my jawline again. This time, it is mostly ATG. On the second pass, I'll pull down on my neck and shave South to North. This time, it's pretty much XTG in the opposite direction on my jawline. When I talk about a two-pass plus touch up shave, my jawline is one of the areas that gets some of the extra attention.
It was such concerns that got me to do the "chipping" across the jawbone(North to South) that I began a few months ago, which finishes off the ATG that I begin with. Sounds like "chipping" is about the same as "touching up", eh?
Pretty smooth. I was actually thinking this morning I could probably use this razor and this razor only and be in good shape. Dangerous thought, I know, but it did pop in my head.
