What's the difference between Gem and Gem Junior?

 

That's one of the best things about the holidays spending time together with loved ones and enjoying past memories.

 

Yup that is what i want a tto open comb. They work better for me then any other safety bar DE's. I have a open comb micro matic Gem that is not as good a shaver as the older ones.. but I get good enough shaves from it.

I'm thinking of selling all my safety bar razors and keeping one rocket, the rest will be SE or comb razors/slants

 

I have yet to try an open comb....

of course I'm only using a Fatboy right now....tried a Super Speed but it was too light...that is all.

 

If Rolls comes through, between the ones I bough from him, and the ones I am getting from Scotty, I should have a fistful of em.

 

That is the one I have. except no box with mine.. not sure how high it will go. Very nice looking set if I did not have to pay rent out of my next check I would be all over it.

The gem juniors all look like the regular gems. Not sure the difference, the 1912 and the gem juniors of that time all had the same heads.

I like mine well enough, actually quite a bit. But I definitely want to try other razors out, and eventually try a straight out too....

How do you tell the date of the Gems? I thought the patent date was just that, and not necessarily the manufactured date. Like it could've been made in 1920, but it's a 1912.

There are spreads I guess;; the best one to ask is Dave when you can run him down. He can generally tell you that A certain model was made from this year to that year. I do not know all of them.
