I appreciate the indulgence for the non shaving pics...there are pretty limited ways to portray the same razor set up for seven weeks. Happy 4th y'all.
I really hope everything works out for the best, Rick. I know she has a fantastic support group behind her. I tried lathering the stuff from the tube once, and it didn't pan out. But, man is it slick. The residual slickness is very good too. I was quite dismissive of it when my friend insisted that I tried it. When I did, I was impressed. Not my mostest favorist soap ever, but it does exactly what it's supposed to. Fortunately, my wife wasn't interested in the Cremo. I say fortunately, because she loves the Stirling bath soaps for shaving. Which means, when she runs low, another order from Stirling gets placed..with a few add-ons...
Maybe we can give Minnesota to Canada to sorta even things out. I don't know what happened, but ever since they started picklin' them fish...
That's what we like to hear, Simon - progress! When riding the cap, put the cap on your face, then rotate down just enough to touch the blade to your skin. If there is any soap left behind during the stroke, it means that the blade isn't quite where it needs to be. The blade should just wipe away the soap and hair cleanly. It does take some getting used to, and does feel bit awkward initially. You'll get there, and it sounds like you're making strides already!!
4th ot July Razor: Rex Ambassador (1.5) Blade: Personna Lab Blue Brush: Rick Montalvo mixed Pre shave: Stirling mentholated Soap: B&M Reserve Spice Thayers Rose AS: B&M Reserve Spice Happy 4th ot July! Made in the USA theme for today's shave. Two pass, no touch up. DFS. The lower settings on the Rex, well I'm at a loss for words. Unbelievably smooth, a bit of an exaggeration, but like wiping the lather off my face with the back of a spoon. I knew I was removing stubble by the audio feedback. Just a great shave! Have a fun and safe 4th my friends! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
