    Hello All,
I recently purchased a Gillette Bakelite case from an antique store and I can’t find info on it. The case is really big compared to some other Gillette Bakelite and I’ve been curious on what would have been in it or what it would have been used for. Any assistance would greatly be appreciated. I’ve attached a photo of the case along with a few other for size comparison

No idea but it is gorgeous. I would use that to store blades. Does the lid have the Gillette diamond?

Yeah, that's a big case alright. The only thing I can think of is that it was used for toiletries.

Looks like a travel case or a salesman sample case.

I was also thinking of some type of salesman or demonstrator case. Maybe with an over sized razor and accessories, but wasn't sure as there is no insert, if Gillette made them.

No, the case has scrolling on the top around the edge of the lid and the Gillette logo is on the bottom of the case

Unlikely but maybe it was some internal gift presentation case?
