Having shed roughly 30 kilograms the past 15 months, I get the impression that my skin has become somewhat more sensitive. I seem to get a few more weepers and razor burn. Could it be that the layer of fat protected my skin from the razor blade and now that my skin is more taut it is more prone to cuts? Perhaps some of you can corroborate my findings.

I have lost about 80lbs in the last 15 months, i noticed i was not getting as good of shaves also, my thoughts were that it had something to do with the skin relaxing and becoming loose as you loose mass, but im not sure, i got past that period and seem to be getting great shaves again.

I think there is definitely something to looser skin causing different shaves. Try stretching the skin a bit more to see if that helps.
