Ivan and the boys wanted me to let everyone know that if you decide to make a last minute trip in this weekend and can't get hotel reservations - there are a couple of nice AirBNB availabilities in East St. Louis. The guys oversee these and live just down the street so there's free vodka, onions and pickles available for guests. Caviar (well, it's eggs from Mississippi River Carp) is extra. Don't wait! These will fill up fast!

 

Pre meet-up shave this morning included the Fatboy on 5 with a new Polsilver blade. The 30DC LE brush whipped up a massive LPL lather. Two passes later, and I'm ready to sit next to @NCoxSTL at dinner just like John Kelly sits next to POTUS .

It was extra cool to have the motorcade escort into STL on I70 by Ivan and the boys. Fresh cookies delivered to the hotel room was a nice touch. Thanks Neal.

 

I'm glad the boys got the scooters up and running in time for the escort. With the price of gas they've been using cheap vodka for fuel and it's hell on the bearings.

 

I saw that Jack Kelly move too....anyway, BACK TO SHAVING......sounds like a good beginning to the meetup.

This morning I decided to use the Pre-War tech and compare it to the Flat Bottom tech that I used the past couple of shaves. The Flat Bottom definitely has more blade feel and is a little more efficient. The Pre-War tech was a bit smoother though. End the end after three passes the results were indistinguishable, both ending in BBS! Have a great weekend my friends!
