Injector & SE Party !!!

I had a quick look and couldn't find anything (stumbled upon a patent for the PAL Injectomatic instead).
I think they were made by ASR Corp? I had a look at their patents from 1945-1955. Nada.
If it doesn't even say Pat. Pend. or something on the packaging (anyone has packaging?), then there probably isn't one.

My first use of this Blade in a while, no problems around the cheeks and neck, but a couple of weepers on the
chin. This is the first mishap in a long time, I guess the Feather is not quite as forgiving as the Proline.Still no lasting damage, and the overall quality of finish is good.

 

Pre: Cold water face wash
Brush: Thater 4125/1 ST
Soap: Vreto Sandalwood
Razor: Blackland Sabre L1
Blade: Gem Stainless ptfe
Post: Cold water rinse, Proraso Red ASL

Second use of a Vreto soap and this time it was the Sandalwood.
I really like these soaps and I really like this scent.
If you like your sandalwood unadulterated then this is for you, think Stirling without the coconut in background.

July 13, 2018 - Friday night shave
Shave of the Night - Used the Schick Type O with a vintage Gillette Twin Blade on the 3rd shave (I think) - This is a great vintage blade and I have a bunch.. Great shave as always with the Type O - its just too easy!

I just did a comparison shave between my ER 1913ish Lather Catcher and my A1, and I whole-heartedly concur...
They are the two best shavers in my cave, as far as closest, in the fewest number of passes.. And they are as much fun as a bucket of rubber toads!!!

Aside from a shave of historic goodness....I Also Love:
A-S A1: I really dig how easy it is to dry off the carbon blade in the A1 without taking it out of the razor. Thats very cool.
ER LC: This razor has more audio and vibrations through the handle than any razor I have ever used...Priceless!!

Besides certain idiosyncrasies that both razors have that make me super love them....They both shave as good as or better (bottom-line) than any razor I have ever had the pleasure...I have a couple injectors I also love like crazy...But nothing than clears a face of any sign of whiskers as easily as these guys!

 

BULLY!!!

Though this Sunday Shave was leisurely enough, it was obvious from the start that it was not going to be that
great as the blade was struggling a bit. I finished the Shave which was passable but not what I had hoped for.
Maybe try a Proline in it next.

I like shave sticks and this one has a few fans in the U.S. and yet until now I haven't tried it.
Why not? It's three and a half times dearer than Palmolive that's why, and
I suspected it wouldn't be as good as Palmolive and knew it wouldn't be three and a half times better.
Well, it is pretty good, a nice clean inoffensive soapy smell, decent cushion and slickness.
It's no Palmolive but 50g of decent soap in a nice plastic travel tube for less than two quid, I'm not complaining.

 

I can answer that..... It shaves great!!! Very smooth. I am veddy happy.
