Thanks Fuzzy! And, thanks for the confirmation on the razor as well. Any idea approximately what years they were made?
I wasn't sure how the blades would be. Turns out, they're way smoother and sharper than I would've guessed.

1919ish. I actually down loaded the Waits book the other day. I will look that up when I get home from work.

 

It’s awesome to see you having fun at this. It really is a hard thing at first. And it’s really a rush in the beginning, to do that N to S pass on your neck; it’s going fine, but you always have that weird picture in your head of a slip that leaves you on the floor, gulping like a fish.

And then two months later, it’s just a thing you do. Easy. And then, you are a Jedi Master. There really is no challenge to shaving anymore.

Except getting a stable lather out of New Williams, but that’s more an alchemy thing than a mad ninja skill.

Great shave, photo and report Bruce. Congrats on scoring razors in the Wild. The Damaskeene is my favorite vintage Gem razor out of the ones, I have tried.

 

Boris and Ivan take great offense at that. Well, they would if I could get them conscious. I'll get back to you. I like the idea of berets. Easier to identify the dissidents when they wear the same uniform.

 

Where the challenge comes in is trying to restrain the purchasing of more razors. That and finding the style that works best for you.

 

I have another one for you: How is the Thater shaping up? I have heard such mixed reviews, and I am such a huge Thater fan. Odd thing is, you sure don’t see any/many of them on BST.
