This razor/handle combo works very well. With it's gray finish, the V3 has a very nice glide to it, better than a DE89 head in chrome, at least for me. It's also slightly heavier with the added metal under the head for a better and cleaner looking design. Two passes with some touch up for a very smooth BBS shave.

 

Although I've never tried Drakkar Noir, I use Fougere Noir soap by WSP. It's a very good soap and it's scent is inspired by Drakkar Noir. Could be a good compliment to Drakkar Noir EdT.

 

Nice evening shave with the Big Kropp.

Mmm, mmm.... Good to be back home after being on the road for almost a week for the company that I work for. As soon as I got home today, this beauty was waiting for me from almost 2 days ago. Tore into the package, sized it up and slapped a blade in it. Bolted to the shower and had my shave gear ready like an Olympian. Jessie Owens would have been proud. 1st shave and Holy Moley! Can you say “efficient and then some”. While still being relatively smooth this Dart just knocked off 2 1/2 days of growth with relative ease and comfort. Minor irritation on my neck just under the jawline and a tiny weeper that a cold splash put a Full Nelson on. A very, very nice shave indeed. Have a great evening and shaves Gents.... ​
