    Razor - 1960 (F4) Gillette Toggle (9)
    Blade - [IMG] (2)
Soap - Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
Brush - Stirling Two Banded Synthetic
    Post - Alum

Fatboy Friday is is! Well, so I'm using the razor that led to the Fatboy. Price it differently back then and market it a bit more and we might all have Toggles and be searching for the rare Fatboy. Instead, it's the other way around. We'll call it Adjustable Friday and it works that way too.

I went from the Blood on Steel soap to the Jeeves Bay Rum. They lather the same, of course, and provide the same great shave. The Kai blade was a bit rough on me tonight but I was hurrying a bit. Can't let the drunks wait too long out there! They need to get home! I didn't really draw blood but just some extra irritation that the alum was happy to point out. Kai, like its cousin Feather, is sharp enough to create the opportunity for a harsh result. I'll have to slow down and watch my angles a bit better tomorrow.

Have a great start to your weekend.

Shampoo - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum Puck
    [IMG]
Razor - Antique Gillette 1907 Old-Type (fully restored and re-plated in gold by Razor Emporium)
Blade - Wilkinson Sword *7th shave
Shave Brush - 20mm GBS Synthetic 3rd generation
Shave Soap - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum
Post-Shave Balm - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum
Deodorant - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum
Aftershave - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum in Stoneware Jug
Fragrance - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum Eau de Parfum

I have been using this a lot lately. I just love the smell. Now I have the Eau de Parfum, but I likely won't use it since the products+aftershave are enough IMO. I'll only use the EDP if things get weak after 6 hours or so and it needs a booster shot.

***EDIT - I wielded Excalibur and defeated the enemy beard hair with ease. 3-pass + cleanup PERFECTION! The Wilkinson Sword blade already works better than any other blades in this Old-Type on the first shave, but this is the first time I dared to go to shaves beyond 4. Well, the 7th shave has been THE BEST of all the shaves with this razor. First time I dared to go for all-out BBS and had zero cuts, zero weepers, zero irritation. The aftershave splash didn't overtly sting because the shave was ultra-low irritation. This is the FIRST time this razor delivered such a shave. Every other time I got some kind of weeper or some tiny irritation. With this razor I've had to skip the 3rd pass and especially skip the final touch up because of the high likelyhood of irritation. This time around, no problems. The post-shave feel is just fantastic.

The Crown King soap performed beautifully, as usual. The splash and balm worked great and all of them smell amazing with the Atomic Age Bay Rum scent. I just can't get enough of this scent lately. I have placed this scent into place of some of my other colognes just to 'get my fix' of this scent.

    Williams Mug Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #303
    J.A. Henckels 5/8
    CWR
    Clubman Pinaud

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #303 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels 5/8 Razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Clubman Pinaud AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Once again a "cheap" saturday morning shave.
    I'm a cold shaver
    Aloe Vera preshave
    Italian Barber Amici soap
Phoenix open comb slant loaded with a Dorco 310.
No need for a 3rd pass using this bad boy. I'm out of Feathers but they will be here next week, cant wait to try one in this tool.
    DFS :happy088: on the cheap.
A nice finish with Nivea, after a good hot shower.
    Ready for the day.

It's time to change razors so I think I'll be using this razor for the next few weeks.

    Pre: Cold water face wash
    Brush: Omega 20102 Boar
    Soap: OSP Fougere
    Razor: WS Sticky
    Blade: Gillette Nacet
Post: Cold water rinse, OSP Fougere ASL

With <15hrs since my last shave, the Sticky was just what the Doctor ordered.
My second use of an OSP soap and the performance of the Fougere is every bit as good as the Bay Rum.
The scent is also very good, James is indeed a very talented soapmaker.
Here's hoping your weekend is as smooth as my face.
