I have a couple of Blackland razors, but not the Dart. What is your opinion of it?

My first shave impressions were that it was more aggressive then I though it would be, the shave seemed a bit rough but I think that was just because I was unfamiliar with it. It was however very efficient, almost BBS in two passes.

I use 9 (same as renamed Home on the Range) and must say that its fragrance is nothing related to a bay rum. It is based on gun cleaner, so I doubt highly that PAA would replace it because of similar scents. I really enjoy the unique scent of Home. If they ever discontinue it, my guess would be only because of sales, etc. If you ever smelled 9 gun cleaner, this is a dead ringer and really cool. You are right though, in that they can't carry ever scent forever. I personally hope they keep this around because it is so unique.

Castle Forbes Lavender Shaving Cream is one of my favorites and it’s almost gone. So, to make it more special I paired it with my favorite brush and one of my favorite razors. Like heaven. The face lathering was pure pleasure and the W&B needed just the lightest of touches to whisk away the whiskers. :happy036:

My light socket went out again, so I'm reduced to what I would call "Cave Shaving". This time I have a nice strong flashlight to help with that, thus I can remain in the bathroom. The maintenance man will come tomorrow to check the socket. Same thing with the shower-"Cave Showering". But I can manage.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY

    Prep: none
Razor: Gillette Super speed Flair Tip

    Blade: Gillette Black
    Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetic
    Soap: Lisa's Natural Gentlemens Lavender
    Post: Soap Commander Courage balm

Pretty good shave this morning. Nice thick lather from the Lisa's and the scent is quite good for a lavender scent. Protective lather helped prevent any damage and provided for a fairly decent shave with no nicks or bleeding. Finished off with Courage balm, which I accidently dropped and broke the cap :( so now I have to take the top off each time, but am glad it can still be used. Hope everyone had a marvelous shave!
