So yesterday was a Le Jaguar 6/8+ with I Coloniali Mango Oil soap lathered up with a TOBS super badger brush, and topped off with Lucky Tiger. The Jag always delivers, love that old French steel - when I can find it in good condition. This morning was the dependable and fine shaving Filly 14 user grade, and a Simpsons 57 lathering Martin de Candre fougere, a perfect summer scent. D. R. Harris Pink finished off a fine shave. Hisyakaku (apparently means 'knight' as in chess) near 7/8 and 1/4 grind or a bit heavier. If you like Wade and Butcher FBUs, you'd love this; fine Japanese steel, impeccable griding with tiny bevels in spite of the heavy grind. And amazingly, good scales for a change. A three-band HMW lathered up some SMN and Harris Pink finished the shave nicely. Cheers, Steve

An old Dovo Pallisander (Bismarck) that's had a scale swap (great improvement). AoS lemon tallow in the l'Occitane UFO bowl lathered with a Dimpsoms 58 amd a little Lucky Tiger to finish up with. Cheers, Steve
