This is a soap I plan to try when my no-buy is over. I LOVE tobacco scents. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

July 26 Hello everyone! I'm still hangin' in there with my G3 (birth quarter) Fatboy running at about half of setting Neal. Even with daily use, the container of LPL shave soap is going to last a looooooooong time. I've been on a Polsilver blade kick for the last couple of weeks. It's a great blade, and I'd say it is a tad sharper than Voskies or Astras. I've also been using my 30DC LE brush. The handle, so masterfully crafted by @jtspartan, looks classy and just feels good in my hand. The Tuxedo synthetic knot does a nice job, and it complements the LE handle well! I disposed of six years worth of used blades today. In my neck of the woods, I can place them in the trash if they enclosed are in a sturdy plastic and properly labeled container. Instead, I took them to a drug store that collects used sharps for safe disposal. Check here if you're interested in finding a blade disposal outlet near you. I've enjoyed riding along with you all this month. Lots of great shaves, photos, commentary, and banter! Have a great evening!
I hear you about this not being a soap you would buy without smelling first. I received this set during Christmas, and it has become a well-loved part of my rotation that will be replaced when finished. The aftershave lasts forever. I get a full work day out of it. Great stuff. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
July 26th Razor: Timeless .95 SC Blade: Rapira Super Stainless(3) Brush: Rick Montalvo mixed Pre shave: Stirling mentholated Soap: Timeless Razor by Oleo Lucky Tiger face tonic AS: Fine Platinum Shave three of thirty. Near BBS shave this evening. Slight improvement with my left hand. I did end up with a couple of weepers on my neck. The .95 Timeless may not have been the best choice to go lefty with but I'm going to continue on. Have a great night! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
July 27, 2018 Well, I got my head shave in late afternoon. The usual setup there. Merkur 23c, Arko, VDH boar brush. Standard fare and good result as always. My plan was to hit the driving earlier than usual since I was off today. Thought I might pick up some early dollars since the weeknights don't always pay off when I try them. My thought was - I'll go out about 8 or so, probably be back by 10 or 11 when there's nothing going on and shave. Well, it's 12:51 a.m. on the 28th and I'm just back in the door after one of my busier nights. I'll take it. I will not, however, be shaving tonight. This morning. Whatever it is. NO SHAVE DAY declared! That will give the Kampfe Star and carbon blade something to work with on two days growth tomorrow. Have a great Friday!
Is today's Craftsman a standard or metric? Looks awesome. I love seeing your Craftsman straights. Brian, you grand son is a sweetie. Thanks for sharing his photos with us. Keep 'em coming! I can easily see the family resemblance between you two. You also salivate in the presence of antique shops and straight razors.
Well, of course. @NCoxSTL just received a new supply of blindfolds and Irish Spring shave soap. As per normal testing procedures, all blades will be stropped on Charmin Ultra Soft and rinsed in Frank's RedHot Sauce immediately prior to each use.
I just showed my Bride your grand son's photo. She wants you to bring him over so she can hug him. You are certainly blessed, Brian.
Friday July 27 - old friends Friday Delta Echo Ink black Gillette Black Beauty on 4 / Nacet ( 1) 30DC LE Maple Cashmere synthetic brush KMF Lavender Shea Cream Alum and Supply Co Lost Provence balm For today's shave I picked out components that are comfortable old friends I haven't used in awhile. The result was a great shave. I squirted one pump of the KMF directly onto my brush and quickly had a face covered with excellent creamy lather. The Nacet blade in the Gillette adjustable was both sharp and incredibly smooth. In fact I enjoyed the whole process so much that I went for a very rare (for me) third ATG pass. I ended up with both a BBS shave and alum that was a little bit warm everywhere -- the reason I usually don't chase the baby with that third ATG pass. However the balm quickly cooled everything down again while providing a wonderful smelling finish. Every time I use these products, I wonder why I don’t use them more often...
