    Pre: Cold water face wash,
    Brush: Vulfix 404 Badger/Boar
    Soap: Eufros Rosa Bourbon
Razor: Blinged Up Blackland Sabre L2
    Blade: Treet Super Carbon
Post: Cold water rinse, Rose of Bulgaria ASL

    IMG_20180729_075343.jpg
My Postman was busy yesterday, some carbon blades from @wchnu (thanks fuzzy) and my polished Sabre from a very talented member on a UK forum.
I'm chuffed to bits with the finish on the Sabre. Does it shave any better? No, but it's already one of my favourite razors and I wasn't trying to improve its performance, I just wanted to bling it up and James certainly did that.
The carbon Treets were as smooth as silk from the off and left my skin feeling the same way.
Here's hoping you enjoy your Sunday.

    Keep It Simple Shave Week

    Williams Mug Shave Soap
    Rubberset 400
    Gem Junior Bar Lather Catcher
    Sha-Ve-Zee Blue Back SE
    CWR
    Family Dollar Spice AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Rubberset 400 brush. I did two passes with the Gem Junior Bar Lather Catcher Razor with an Sha-Ve-Zee Blue Back SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Family Dollar Spice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Prep: shower with Auromere sandalwood bath soap, pre shave soap mix
    Razor: Gillette Tech
    Blade: Rapira SS
    Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft
    Soap: Wheat State Creekside
    Post: Pinaud Whiskey Woods A/S

Decent shave the other day. Love the scent of Creekside, although the residual slickness was non existent and the lather had a waxy feel to it. The Whiskey Woods A/S smells great and is a awesome addition to the Pinaud line.

Prep: shower with WTF Taboo bath soap, pre shave soap mix
    Razor: Gillette Red Tip
    Blade: Big Ben (1st shave)
    Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft
    Soap: Ballenclaugh Woodsmen
    Post: Pinaud Clubman

Amazing stellar shave the other day. This was up there with the War Blend shave the other day. Although pine tar is not my favorite scent, this was my first B&C soap and this quickly became one of my most treasured artisans. Lather quality is top notch with all aspects but residual slickness and post shave are the ones that really stand out, not sure if the pine tar contributed to this or not. Face felt super moisturized and BBS after the shave and finished off with the classic Clubman which paired great with the citrusy pine tar scent of Woodsmen.

    Prep: none
    Razor: Gillette Superspeed Flair Tip
    Blade: Lord SS
    Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetic
    Soap: Viking Tree Of Life
    Post: CL TSM Fougere Salve

Picked up this cool lather bowl from the thrift store for 14 cents. Can't believe how cheap it was and the textured bottom really helps making a good lather, much better than the kitchen bowl I was using before. Went with Viking Tree Of Life which smells very similar to TSD Oakmoss Sandalwood and is a sweet smelling scent. Viking is up there with Sterling as far as value goes, excellent ingredients and a great performer that can be had for a decent price. Lather held a nice amount of water and although I did get a few nicks, the soap helped protect and soothe the damage that was caused. Finished off with TSM Fougere Salve, my tub has has been separating so I have to mix it up but it makes it much easier to apply so no complaints. Hope everyone is in good health and getting the best shaves!
