I pulled the trigger on a replated Star DE from Razor Emporium. I've wanted one and it was only 35 clams. That's cheaper than buying one online and sending it in to get replated. I read they are slightly more "aggressive" than a tech.

 

I finally got a Bostonian. Can’t wait to use it!

Alum block for feedback on your technique. Styptic for errors.
I'll be using mine in OCtober, for sure.

 

It actually got here quick, and I used it this morning. I didn't find it to be the scary beast that it's made out to be. That was using the open comb plate (it comes with both.) I did of course ride the cap. We will get along just fine I think.

 

I never tried it, so it's on its way.
