Well it finally happened. I grabbed my shaving towel and caught the razor and pulled it off the counter. I am happy to say I didn’t try and catch it. I jumped back and allowed it to go to the floor. Fortunately, it missed any appendages on the way down and safely landed on the small rug I was standing on. No harm done and I was able to pick it up and have a very nice shave

Such a cool grind on that one! Is that his preferred grind for "tough beards" - provides a little less flex?

 

Yes, actually a perfect razor for my head 7/8 1/4 grind. A bit more cost than the 14.2 but for my needs a better fit. Scales are buffalo horn.

King Pelican 14 today, MdC agrumes was a great summer morning choice, lathered with a Rooney 3/2 with Heritage hair. A little Lucky Tiger complimented the agrumes scent.

Tonight's shave was with a well Respected razor, that's bit me several times, but not today. I had a perfectly smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues, and a very well made razor.

Razor- "Respect 4". Best Silver Steel. Extra Hollow Ground. Germany.
Brush- Stirling Boar
Soap- Arko/Sandalwood
Aftershave- Florida Water

 

Very Nice! Dig that long tang extension and graphics! Would like to see some More pics of that blade please...

 

Tonight’s shave. 3 pass BBS. No issues at all.
