I got a faulty external TV speaker back from being repaired yesterday. Within less than 24 hours, the problem that was supposedly fixed is already recurring. So my morning began with an annoyed call to Bose. Good thing I kept the shipping box, because it is going right back.

After dealing with that, I went for a shoot, which made me feel much better. It’s just really relaxing.

Tomorrow is our 45th wedding anniversary, and today our youngest son came up from South Cackalacky and took us out to Binion's Roadhouse to celebrate. We had a great time.

Thanks, Rich. The little man was a hand full today, but mostly pretty good.

Went kayaking in Cascade Lake. It was beautiful in the morning, but forest fire smoke came rolling in in the afternoon. Firefighting planes were crossing over regularly. [IMG]

Yesterday was busy. In the morning, a bunch of folks from the archery club met up at the outdoor range. There was a reporter from the local paper who wanted to meet with us for a local-interest story. I got to see some folks I hadn't seen in a while, which was very enjoyable.

Later, I drove out to Queens to visit a friend, who recently had hip-replacement surgery. (Queens is geographically close-about 30 miles- but the traffic is a pain.) She is recovering steadily, though she has a way to go. Of course, we brought her a bear. Her boyfriend has been taking very good care of her. As I noticed that the personal effects left at her place included a shaving brush, he will be rewarded for this with one of my shave soaps, next time I visit. From what I gather he's a very good guy, but the poor fool is using canned goo. We can't have that.

I used canned shaving products, from time to time, none of which are goo.

I'm currently watching Thor Ragnarok on Amazon. No one told me it's a comedy! :)

This weekend, the hubby & I took a short jaunt to PA. We needed to shop at Cabela’s & Duluth Trading, for some clothing. Shockingly, Duluth has women’s pants in the right size and length for me. As I am tall & “plus sized” I rarely find what I want on the shelf in the store.

Then, upon returning home & checking in here, I learned that I won a PIF (thanks @COMPNOR ). I’d call it a pretty good weekend.

So I clicked on one of my favorite classical tunes..Bach concerto in A minor for 4 harpsichords. I thought this is weird.. somethings wrong with this title..it reads concerto in a minor. So I thought to myself..in a minor what? Must be slowing down cuz it took a while to figure out..ohhh A minor..:happy096: Quite a nice rendition though from an university ensemble in Alberta..

I believe that means someone under the age of 21 is performing it.
