My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #309 synthetic brush. I did just one pass with the Mongoose Alumigoose Razor on loan from Redfisher with a Feather SS Professional blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Pre: Cold water face wash,
Brush: WDC-8, Maseto 24mm 2BF
Soap: Noble Otter Barrbarr
Razor: Gem MMCP
Blade: Treet Super Carbon
Post: Cold water rinse, Tuff Red ASL

If the performance of this soap matched the scent it would have no competitors for the No.1 spot in my soaps, as it is, it's not in my top five.

That stuff is garbage. I used Mayo once and got a better shave. Don't feel bad about tossing it.

In my ongoing search for a Bay Rum, I went with the Benjamin's Bay Rum today. Someone on a British forum kindly sent me four samples, to help me in my quest, and this is one of them.
I like it, very light, not sweet, but I suspect it's not going to hang around for very long.
