Okay, so, this is the straight edge I bought on eBay. It was paid for and shipped today, and I expect it either this weekend or early next week. I've attached pictures from the seller's item profile for your perusal. I plan to take super-good care of this, and when I've saved up some money again, I intend to have my Trident Ed Wusthof sent in for restoration seeing as how I stupidly left it wet one evening after a shave and it developed rust in some places.
I second the Nice Looking comment. I own a few Dubl Ducks, and they take a fantastic edge. The problem is, everyone knows they are very good razors, and usually the prices for them reflect that. There are many others that take just as good an edge, but the GoldEdge, has a very blingy and pretty look to it. I have DD's and have gave them away too. DD's are good razors, but I don't think they are worth the hype. Neither are Fatboys.
The razor arrived today and it looks even better than in the images. I went ahead and applied mineral oil to the blade and put it back in the sheath it came with. I'm taking care of this one VERY well as long as I have it.
