    Gillette Spoiler blade (4)
    FS Silver Tip badger brush
    Taconic Eucalyptus Mint SC
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Taconic Eucalyptus Mint A/S

The Spoiler continues to impress. Loaded into the Smart razor, for #4 shave, it worked well. The Lord Smart razor is a mild shaver but all went well. The Taconic SC is a great cream, love it. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks
  3. Now back in the US, first shaves are with my newly arrived and heretofore unused L'Essor differential open comb DE. Gorgeous razor, aggressive as the French can be, very very close shave with the Supermax BDT.

As there has never been a thread here on this razor I'll create one.

  4. Today's shave was with a Newly Acquired, Restored, and Honed Razor. I had a wonderfully smooth 2 pass shave, with very minor touch-up around the chin, that yielded a BDBS shave. This is a splendid razor, and takes a seriously sharp edge. The ATG pass was as smooth as the WTG pass.

    Razor- "CCC" (Cattaraugus Cutlery Co.).
Brush- JR#262 Birdseye Maple/Ebony/ WD Silvertip
    Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Scented
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Mmmm Mmmmm Good.

Ok, the glue has dried, my knot is tight, and my King Shave Pele's Fissure 8 Eruption brush is ready. For its first use, I matched it with a cool Norwegian cream, Fjellheim, which to me smells like astringent juniper berries from the troll infested Norwegian fjord country.

The edge was provided by this Friodur Inox stainless straight, and the aftershave is Pitralon Polar.

So, Hawaiian brush (in spirit), German razor, Norwegian cream and an Austrian splash. It's a globalist's dream, SJW approved (although no SJW would use a straight razor due to the risk) shave combination.

Basically, three passes, a little blood due to the rubbery neck parts not quite recovering from the fresh Derby blade I used day before yesterday, but a decent Thursday shave. The scents on this shave were glorious, and I hope they last most of the day.
  6. Thank you my friend. Have a great day. :)

  19. Round two of the Fritz Bracht DOVO #25 vs. the Dubl Duck Wonderedge. All software the same as before but the Fritz Bracht was sporting a green paste enhanced edge. Wow, I don’t know that there is a clear winner but on a highly subjective basis I might give it to the Fritz. I like the larger size a little more and the point doesn’t intimidate me as much as the one on the Wonderedge. But really, you could pick either one as better - they’re both that good. :happy036:

  20. I got 3 pass DFS, from this little guy. Mowed though 2 days growth with ease. I’m really liking these smaller razors. They are definitely different to use, than a wider heavier blade. I have to adjust my technique a little, but the results have been great.
