Bong, Try the speick out......shep was less than impressed but only had enough for 1 shave. I knew though sample containers were a bit small.
I will give it a shot. Because of Burnwood, have to try everything first hand. Yes, that's it. I deleted my post so Tracy can have it. I'll be nice today too.
right...but I don't get what the big deal is about having the last post on the page? especially on this never ending thread.... what does speick smell like? I like the smell of Erasmic - any recommendations on other similar scents?
I think it's more having the first post on a new page. I stink at describing scents. I have never smelled eramic. but it's a clean light scent that is a little bit woodsy. I'll send some of the splash and balm for you I think I have a sample of the cream from shaving essentials too, so I can send you the one I got in Shawn's Mega cream PIF.
last paging suddenly became cool for some reason? I would rather be the 7th post on each page....or next to the last.....anyways...... Speick....smells like a mild spicy cream....not overpowering. a little herbal and spicy.....very difficult to describe really. Erasmic soap smells like Wars cream IMO. Sorry couldnt help you out
I didn't do any better describing it than you did Shawn. So you didn't like the open comb razor? What do you usually use?
haha...what does Wars cream smell like? :happy102 :happy102 Shawn, here's the limit of my experience: TOBS sandalwood & avocado creams Tabac soap IK soap TOM mint cream MWF soap which I haven't tried yet C&E sandalwood soap Erasmic shave stick just got a sample of Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorn soap (smells awesome but I find the lather drying) and Pre de Provence soap (haven't tried yet - smells a bit like lavender???) Bong's hooking me up with some samples of things to try :happy088
I used the Sheraton with a red ip. Very rough shave and way to aggressive. Going to give it another try with the 7 oclock but it was rough! I did get a good shave though. I didnt give up. My favorite razors(if i had 3).....Fat handled tech, slim adjustable, and aristocrat jr. Slim adjustable if I only had 1. Used to love the Fatboy(hence my screen name) but went away from the fatboy. Its what works for me and I am happy I am not giving up on the open comb.
I heard that... You guys just got to learn the technique to the SE. It is a little different but easier to me.. I dunno about all youz guys..:happy102 Fuzzy
JoAnna, Didnt you just get that stuff and thats all you have left? WOW! PM your addy and will send you a sample of Speick and Wars and some other stuff They arent huge samples but you will get a feel for the creams a little bit.
Maybe you can play around with the angle of attack with the razor head. I am really impressed with the open combs. They are more aggresive, but I have a pretty coarse beard. Tracy must have barbed wire for whiskers I like the tech a lot, but I need too many passes with it to get the shave I want. I haven't used the adjustable since I started with these open combs, between the, the slants, the injector, and now the Straight, I haven't used any safety bar razors for awhile. Matt, as soon as I get my package from Rolls and Ray, I'll be sending some stuff your way.
I only ordered 10 or so. When I come across a cream no one has used or heard of, I only order a few so I can check em out first. Wouldn't want to order 500 and find out they don't lather.
