have you tried Ogallala soaps Shawn? Do you find them drying? I have a sample that I used yesterday and today, and both times I thought the lather was extrememly dry - yet when I tried to add water, it just became very thin and runny. Not cushioning at all....

 

That's what I said too, then I promptly got I got CF lime, Tabula Rasa and SMN.

Goodnight guys....Got the Falcons game tomorrow and we leave around 9 AM. Going to bed early and starting a new book. Pretty sad for a Saturday night but I guess I am getting old. Bong...going to try the IK on Monday.....Going to give Speick another try in the morning. Kind of dogged it earlier but only going by my last shave with it. Its not that its bad.......its just not the best.

 

I haven't tried that one yet, I have a couple samples, just other stuff higher on the priority list

IK is a great soap if you find others are drying.

Matt, you should update your medicine cabinet list, so I know what you have/don't have.

 

Any of you guys used any of the SCS EDT's? If so what do you like and dislike about them. I have a tough time dropping big bucks for brand names and then finding out they weren't as good or didn't last as long, etc. I have the SCS Dagger and love it but I need to expand a little.

 

Tracy, I think Rodd uses some, I haven't tried any, but I also just read on B that Sue of SCS has a cologne sampler 17 dollars for 2 mls might be a good way to check them all out.

 

I, unfortunately, am a jump in with 2 feet guy. I usually don't do samples, for some strange reason. The upside is her prices are pretty good compared to name brand. I figure if I don't like one I will PIF it or something. The one advantage her colognes have is that they have some massive staying power. I put the Dagger on and it lasts a good 7-8 hours.

 

I usually don't wear EDT, so even a sampler will last me quite awhile.
But it is annoying to like something and buy it only to find it dissapears after a a couple hours, or even 30 minutes.

 

On the road again.................. I just can't wait to get out on the road.

So, Merry Christmas and stuff. You have all been missed. It is going to take a half a day to catch up and do a page long multi-quote to reply to two weeks worth of posts. Any of you guys make it to The Body Shop for the sale. I did. Damn cashier thought I was joking when I asked her to gather up every tub they had of shaving cream (old and new) they had in stock. I also got some other stuff too. The total came to just under $800. I did give a boxfull of tubs as gifts though, and some brushes, ASB, and body butter to the ladies up here.

On another note. I saw my first bigfoot while we were driving through an unnamed forest in the midwest. Big SOB looked like it was taking a piss. I bet it would have given John Holmes a run for his money too!!

Well, I gotta run. You kids play nice. I really do miss chatting with everyone on here, from the heart, ya'll. WIth luck (and speed), I will be back on next week sometime.

The "last paged" thing was an observation I made a few days back about being the last post on one page and somebody comes right behind you and starts a new page. Your post gets forgotten and lost as the last one on the prior page. A couple other guys chimed in lamenting this same little occurrence. Hence the term "last paged" was coined. Royalty fees are forthcoming.

I'm thinking we might buy a WII. Gonna go check the post xmas sales and see what kind of bargains I find. Time for a shave and shower now (patchouli here I come). Nighty night all.

I'm still not fully sold on IK yet, either...I think I may need to try bowl lathering it to see what I can get - face lathering just hasn't brought me near what I can get with Tabac, and I thought IK was supposed to be more moisturizing...."it oozes lotion" I think was one report?

I wish I needed to shave twice a day....

 

Hey everybody! I hope you all had a good day, sorry I wasn't around. I was catching up with a friend who I haven't seen in a long time. It was pretty nice, we went out to dinner then I bought the deadspace movie went back to his house and watched it. It was amazing and horrifying at the same time. Then I tried to play the game but there was a dead necromorph on the floor and I went to stomp him and he jumped up at me and I screamed and started crying, I'm buying the game anyway.
