Cool, I'll take a look at it when I'm putting your stuff together. The IK isn't a great lathering soap, you need to use a lot of it to load your brush with it. The lather is kind of thin and never gets the large volumes of lather like you can from Tabac.

Hi Jen, been pretty slow in here today. I did pick up the first book of Hellsing as per your request.

Off to finish waxing my ski's see you in a bit if you two are still around.

OK, maybe I've been expecting something different then. Also, having a water softener, I can get large amounts of lather using very little soap. I've been thinking I haven't been loading the brush enough. With Tabac, I don't need to load the brush much, I'll try loading more with the IK. I think that's the same problem I had with the Ogallala - not enough soap on the brush.

If you want, I can send you a sample of the Erasmic I have. It's a shave stick that I milled into a tub.

I'm off to bed... have fun "waxing your skis" ;) :happy102

Goodnight Matt, I'll overlook that you are making fun of me waxing my ski's.

I'll post pics next time since you think it's so funny! :D
If you don't see me in the AM, I'm probably out in the mountains somewhere.

Yay! I hope you love it :) you also should pick up deadspace the movie if you like hellsing.

I've decided I'm only bringing 3 soaps/creams with me to Buffalo, Tabac, MWF and TOBS rose... I don't really use anything else anymore.

If you are only taking three, you made some nice choices.
I'll see if I can find deadspace. Is there another name for the movie?

Eh I'd take more if I used the other ones but really, I've been going for these 3. I'll bring the HBS that sheppy gave me because I do like those on the weekends to mix things up but all of my col conks are going to stay at home.

The movie is called Deadspace: Downfall. I picked it up for $17 and change at a local circuit city. If you try to find it at a blockbuster definitely call ahead and make sure they have it.

Oh, the movie just came out, I was wondering why the library didn't have it.

I am a huge fan of SCS scents in general. There are however some things I should say.

First, SCS Sandalwood is amazing, before I wore colognes about twice a week, now I wear that on every day except those 2 days a week when I use something else. It is awesome.

Second, I have yet to find a SCS scent that I didn't like, but my wife thought that both the New Spice and the Dagger were over powering, and no matter how hard I tried to get a small spray, she thought they were just too strong. They have both been retired from my rotation.

If you want my top two, they are the Sandalwood and the Bay Rum w/ a Twist. If you want me to go to 3rd, 4th, 5th etc, that gets harder, the rest see pretty equal use in my den. If you have specific questions about any scents I will be happy to help with any that I have tried.

I just got back in from the UFC fights. Some pretty good fights, some big surprises, for me anyway. Gotta call it a night, but not before I thank Bong for the plethora of blades he sent my way. I was expecting 3-4, I got far more. Thanks Bong!

yup, it came out with Deadspace the game. Honestly I'm impressed with how innovative the series is so far. I mean releasing a prequel movie with a video game? that's cool. It also has no HUD because every in game menu is actually being used by the main character, his heath bar is built into his suit. The physics are just downright sexy, I stomped on a corpse at the top of a hill, it's head came off and rolled all the way down, that is cool, then I kicked what was left and the torso followed the head down the hill. If you play in on a high def TV you will spend the first 10 minutes just looking at how amazing everything looks. I hope they make more, or at least more movies, I'd like a novel too.

with that rousing endorsement I am going to have to try a couple. of the SCS scents. What are your next 3 favorites in no particular order?

I figured out a way to use the SCS milk. Witch hazel, leave wet, put a dab on each cheek, then follow up with more witch hazel over the top to help spread it out.

NP on the blades, thanks for the pella SE blades.

    Good night Rodd.

And I'm here too. Good morning SD'ers. Did a very little bit of browsing last night looking for a WII. I discovered two things. 1, it appears everyone is sold out both online and at B&M's. 2, everyone is pissed at Ninetendo because apparently they throttled back production this xmas season to keep prices high. Or at least that's what everyone thinks. I have no idea. Does not look like I'll be finding any post xmas deal on one though. Seems to me like they should flood the market w/ the game console. The discs are where the money's at anyway. Up to 50 bucks for some of those freakin' things. Oh well, I'm not desperate to have one. Just thought it might be fun. We actually have one of the early version Xboxes. It works real good and the games are fun. I don't play it much anymore, but the kids like it.

Hmmmm. What to discuss in the AS forum today. That's right, it's Sunday and time for our weekly chat. I have something a little bit different in mind today so stay tuned for that.

    Happy Sunday folks.

    Morning, Fuzzy.

How are the days leading up to the end of the year treating you?

    Ah. Sheppy.

    Morning, buddy.

I still have some catching up to do. Multi-quote time.

Ugh. Yeah. I left the one I was honing out for a couple weeks when I last traveled and it rusted. I just haven't had the time to fix it back up. I'll definitely be trying to hone one up for you when I've got some time. Keep pestering me about it (I've got a bad memory and will forget unless you remind me).

    We should break his kneecaps.

The Pre de Provence soap is pretty good stuff. I got a tin of it recently and had a fabulous shave with it in Boston and a pretty good shave with it here in Florida.

I find the shave from Ogallala Bay Rum soap less than thrilling. Even though I could whip up a really nice looking lather, I couldn't get a close shave.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Rolls. It's been a little different around here without you. I look forward to you being back in full force.

Also, you can't do a page long multi-quote. Then you'd beat my record for multi-quoting.

And I forgot about the Body Shop's sale. Any idea if it's still going? I'd really like to pick up a tub of the old shave cream.

I was going to say that I would move in too, but I just read that Shep couldn't find a Wii. Ugh. Come on, Shep. Get with the program. How are we supposed to have fun if you don't have a Wii?

    'atta girl.

Mornin' Dom. We need to change your title to the Multi-Post Kid. Fuzzy can be your sidekick, the SE Bandit. :D

    Haha. Cute.

    I do like Woot Off.

Funny thing, though. I have those packages all ready to go, but the post office I know of in Florida has been closed since the 24th and doesn't open again until Florida. People would not have that in Boston.

Well I'm in no rush. I've got a bunch of blades from Bong I need to try anyway. Hey Dom, have you tried any of the TSD soaps yet? You know how picky I am, and I've gotta say this stuff really works. Everyone has different experiences of course, but it's definitely worth a try. So have you yet?
