Thank you, Clint. Congrats on your lifestyle changes as well. My hat is off to you for maintaining your weight! I am using a free app called Lose It!. It helps me track my food intake, my exercise, and my weight. It also provides a calorie budget (based on my current weight, height, age, target weight, and rate of weight loss). There's nothing magic about it. It just keeps me aware and allows me to make better decisions. It is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for tool to help you. No Excel experience required. ;)

This is the best $12 I've spent in a while, too.

Good for you, Charlie! You're going into it with the right mindset. It's a lifestyle. It gets easier as time goes on. Best of luck to you!

What’s the future of the Progress once the month is over, Joseph? Gonna hang around, or find a new home?

That "technique trumps tools" saying is what summarizes my shaving, I'd say. Gillette Pivot DisposeABLES have become "One" with me for years. Having said this, I do hope to get going real soon with 2 fancy razors PIFed to me by a gentleman who needs no introduction(thus he won't get one, chukkity yukkity yuk)...Dorco 6-Blade and Gillette Twin 2 Plus.

Thank you, Jason. A little late on the reply, but yes, they are pretty much my favorite slashes right now. I definitely like Stirling and CL as well, but I find I like the scent offerings from PAA.

My biggest problem is my love of adult beverages and a sweet tooth. Giving up the beer would help with the weight loss and save me money on internet shopping as well. :D

My Bride and I sometimes enjoy a craft beer in the evening. We split a bottle by pouring it into two Pilsner glasses. This makes the serving look deceptively larger, and it's ~100 calories. That qualifies as a snack and is not enough to cause Internet shopping. :)

Ice cream is my personal weakness. We often go to a deli with a soft ice cream machine (apologies to @BaylorGator. Addicts like me have no standards.). My portion size has gone from two cups (which earns me "the look" from my Bride) to a half cup (100% Bride approved) - about 140 calories. That would also qualify as a snack.

This is what's working for me so far...

It’s a big step making a lifestchane but once ou develop the habit it gets easier. My enemy is carbohydrates and like you I have a weakness for ice cream. Keep up the good work!

    No Pic Monday

It is going to be a busy week so not sure if there will be any pics. 3rd shave for the Personna 74, today I put in my Barbasol Floating Head. The only blade I have used that can go for 3 uses (I'm a 4 pass shaver) is an Iridium Super and even then I will not do the 3rd shave in an aggressive razor. A tiny nick and tickle from the alum.

    Irritation A Closeness A+

Razor: Brabasol Floating Head Persona 74 (3)
    Brush: Romero Manchurian
    Soap: DR Harris Arlington cream
AS: Fine Vetiver AS, Stirling ASB
    Scent: Guerlain Vetiver

No apologies needed. We don’t make scoopable ice cream. We make single serve novelties for schools that are low in fat and usually less than 150 calories each.

Thanks Keith. I appreciate it. I love carbs as well. The app I'm using helps me track carbs, fats, and protein, allowing me to see the impact of my food choices.
