Tuesday morning August 14

Supply Co V.2 interchangeable injector on plate #2 / Personna ( 3 )
Jason's non - 30DC cypress badger brush (Maggards 24mm two - band badger knot )

Alum and Thayers Witch Hazel Original and Soapy Bathman Cup of Joe menthol balm

The brush and soap were a pleasure to use. After the first quick pass with the injector, I was already DFS and close to BBS and could have ended the shave. Instead I did another pass for the sheer pleasure. That was a mistake. I may not have skin stretched tautly enough while going XTG; I felt the irritation immediately afterwards. The alum stung in half a dozen places. However an application of non-alcoholic witch hazel soothed the burn, then the balm doused it -- especially after the menthol kicked in and left my face frozen.

Oh well, tomorrow I try again for that high-grade DFS without the irritation....

 

This has the look of razor burn. Too much pressure...shallower angle.

Tobacco Tuesday!

Good evening my friends!

Great shave this evening! Two pass with touch up left me near BBS.

First use of the soap and aftershave. The scent coming off the puck is nice but very subtle, or in other words, weak, at least to my nose. The aftershave on the other hand has a bold masculine scent. I would describe the scent if I could but I'll just say I like it, I like it a lot.

Sorry today’s shave didn’t go a nicely as you hoped. Tomorrow is another day to nail the shave. It happens to us all from time to time - just to keep us humble, I think.

 

Nice picture and gear Jim. The PAA line has a very large selection; amazing artwork. Sandalwood and Oud sounds good.
