Haven't tried the E or F yet, been sitting on them for a week and first go around will be tomorrow shave. If I recall, I believe Mark has tried the E series. From Using the D, I would say since I shave everyday, the D might be the correct base plate for me and the F over kill so I don't ever plan on having days worth of whiskers but we shall see. Will report this weekend as I plan to use F for next two days followed by E.

Speak of the devil, Mark is using his E, maybe he can compare with the Timeless .95

I have used the D, E and F plates. The D and E are very close in smoothness with the E being a touch more efficient. The F plate is not as smooth but is much more efficient. The F does require more attention since it bites.

I have both Italian Stallion and Kraken aftershave milks and agree that they are a great product. Kind of unusual being a milky consistancy but the skin care is excellent.

Very good information my friend, so the F would be something like the '13 R41 or Redtip in comparison for me, nice to use but not for a daily driver.

The F plate feels similar to the Timeless 0.95 OC to me while being more efficient. I can use it daily but it’s about my limit as a daily shaver.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY

    20180815_122700.jpg

Prep: shower with Siliski Soaps Floral Bouquet body bar, pre shave soap mix
    Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
    Blade: Royal Stainless (1st shave)
    Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft
    Soap: Ellegant Rose- Woodland Spice
Post: Siliski Soaps- Frankincense & Myrrh post shave

Magnificent shave this afternoon. First time with Woodland Spice, this artisan has quickly made it to become one of my favorites. Despite having a similar scent profile as Smitten Soapery Stud Muffin, they are very different. Woodland Spice has a bit more citrus mixing with the cinamon and other notes, while Stud Muffin smells heavier on the clove to my nose. There was no burning from the scent despite the cinamon oil and was a bit concerned at first, but no issues to speak of. Lather quality is outstanding, managed to do touch ups with no visable lather without negative consequences. The Siliski Post Shave oil absorbs quickly into the skin, feels great, and has a nice woodsy scent that paired well with Woodland Spice. Couldn't ask for a more perfect shave, and hope everyone had a similar experience!

Cool newspaper ads Bill! Its always neat to see these vintage advertisments and see how many of these products become household names over time.

On a side note, it apears those dogs are using a puck of modern Williams for their bath. Big bubbly lather Hahaha. (Sorry couldnt help myself).

Interesting, the D plate feels more like the .95 SB so I was leaning the E might be like the OC version
