Ok, that makes sense if you can download games to the box. Didn't think of that. But if a person is just buying games on disc they should all work on the 20gb drive correct? That figures about the HDMI cable. They molded the plug different so only their cable works huh? That kind of chicken sh** stuff gets under my skin. My TV is nice too so I would like to get the best benefit out of it I can. And I never said it was a waste of money. My wife thinks that I think, but I likes me toys.

Where's Dom and Ray today? We've really had a slow few days around here. I'll be expecting some major multi quotes in the near future!

 

Dom's girlyfriend was coming down to Florida. Ray must be on his Day's off. It has been kind of slow here lately but it did pick up some today. Good time to be doing some reviews there Shep.

 

Have to be in the right frame of mind to do reviews. Not happening today. Actually I'm just about out the door here in another few.

I hadn't planned on downloading anything. I figured you purchase them on disc and play that way. This Game Stop store seems to have loads of good used stuff for cheap. I need to do some more research into this whole deal. There seems to be a lot I don't know.

Well what you can do sheppy is load games onto the hard drive, but personally I once again think that is silly. It also doesn't work very well yet because it's a new feature. There is also an arcade where you can download games, I have doom on mine. You have to pay for the games with microsoft points that you buy at gamestop or target. Really, I doubt you'll need the extra space.

I haven't had much time to stop by the last couple days, but on the wii topic, my most recent console is a PS2, but my brother in law has a wii and got this cheapo game pack that has dodge ball as one of the games, most fun ever. Seriously, we played for hours when I was home for christmas. My brother has a PS3 and xbox 360 and those never interested me, besides the PS3 as a blueray player, but that game almost sent me looking for a wii.

Most kids don't have the money to spend so things that are out of the range tend to be a 'waste.' Chill out.

20 isn't exactly the smartest age. That has NOTHING to do with you so don't it personal. I don't know you and comments I make have more general weight than they do specific.

I'd say it's at least a bad day if you're arguing with someone about the Xbox on the internet.

Back to relevancy...

I do download a lot of games. I don't load games from disc to the system, but you can. I also use my Xbox for a bit more than just playing games. Music and other things can be loaded to it. I have a lot of music. I use the thing to play said music. It isn't a waste if you consider the other uses.

1080p is completely worth it if you have a nice TV. If you don't want to spend the money, then don't. It all comes down to being able to use the features you're paying for.

I'm done with this, I said what I wanted to say about it and there really isn't much reason to keep bringing it up here. If anybody wants to talk about it further I have a PM box.
