Great photo, Jim! I liked the Jeeves bay rum scent but it’s certainly not traditional.

Nice setup, Neal! More Jeeves love.

    Thank you, Jason!

Thank you, Neal! I appreciate your kind words.

Thank you, Charlie! Very kind of you.

The first two shaves with the OREN and the 2 dot plate were perfect. I just could not leave well enough alone and had to pair the aggressive 3 dot plate with a Feather Super Pro. Wow, this is some serious blade feel. More than the famed Ikon Tech. @PickledNorthern Jared, has a first prototype run of the AlumiGoose head which is a beast of a razor. This pairing has the same amount of blade feel. As is my usual with a new setup, I went with a traditional 3 pass shave that ended with a near perfect shave. I could have stopped there and been satisfied. I applied lather to my lower neck and buffed it smoother than smooth with no nicks, errors or irritation. As @Keithmax would say, a truly Epic shave. I rewarded myself with a splash of Captain's Choice Bay Rum. I am off to take my Mom to lunch and run her errands. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Great stuff, Charlie :). (The photography, not just the TOBS and Trumper, not to say the latter aren't great, but....AAAAAAH YOU know what I mean).

    August 19 SOTD:

    Razor: Razorock Mamba
    Blade: Polsilver
    Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
    Lather: AOS Ocean Kelp
    Aftershave: The Veg
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

It has been a while since I have used this cream, and unfortunately it looks like the last time I did, I left the top loose. It was dries out, but a little water and it loaded right up. While the AOS creams are not my favorites, they are still good performers and this one did very well this morning. The Mamba is an autopilot type of razor, so it was a smooth shave. A great start to my Sunday. I hope everyone has a great day!

Shave this morning was good enough, I suppose. I had two weepers on the second pass. I applied new water before the second, and could tell right away that the soap(Jeeves of H. Bay Rum)was "thinner" than the first. I suppose the cuts were inevitable. Will try a different brush and razor tomorrow.

Great photo and report, Clint! That razor would likely scare me. I’m too comfortable with mild injectors!

    Nice photo, Jim!

First shave since Thursday morning. I’ve been helping a friend move and haven’t even had time to check in. I’m over 200 posts behind. What did I miss?
It was fun mowing three days worth of beard off with this baby.

Thank you Amigo. Just trying to be a good son.

    Thank you Jim.

    Thank you. Resistance is futile.

I imagine the 1 dot plate is fairly mild with a regular Feather Pro. The setup today is anything but mild.

Wonderful picture Jim. I feel the same about AOS creams. However my wife insists on buying me more of he creams. I’m not about to tell her no.
