Black Tie and Old Goat are the only 2 i have tried yet. Love the scent of their Sandalwood & Amber. Old Goat is a darn good Old Spice scented soap, so if your fond of OS you should love this one.
As long as it's classic Old Spice I probably will. That scent is as American as Pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving.
I got a junk lot with some cool stuff. There is a Hussy razor with vintage magazine injector. Then there are three Gillette Old Types minus their split handles. I see some wooden handles in their future. The middle one is Property of US Army. I have been wanting one of those for a long time. Woo-hoo!
Just put an order in last week for 2 I would say semi- custom badger brushes 30mm Brad Sears 28 mm replica of this one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just picked up a razor I'd been looking at for a little while, as I have never tried an Old Type yet. I believe (and please correct me if I'm wrong) it's a Canadian Pocket Edition. I really wanted an ABC one with the lovely ornate handles but in decent condition they seem to be out of my price range right now. Case isn't perfect either but I'm sure it will shave nicely.
Nice score. As far as the condition of the case, although it won't be original, you can always refurbish it or send it to someone else who can if you don't feel up to the task. If you do decide to get the razor and bank replated, or even the case, go with silver, but you may already know that.
I have seen people here do some lovely ones... sometime in the future I may get the case refurbed. Obviously it depends on how I enjoy the shave, but I would consider this a candidate for a (definitely silver!) replate if I fall in love with it. I'm just happy as it's another "family" of vintage Gillettes that I can say I've owned and used.
In addition to these I am waiting on Wholly Kaw Agrumi in estate set Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
