Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
Blade: GEM PTFE
Razor: Superior Lather Catcher
Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
Soap: Stirling Glacial Lemony Orange
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Glacial Lemony Orange aftershave

Nice shave in the end but the first pass was not as efficient as usual. Had some extra work to do to achieve a work day shave, but no bother in the end. Loved the cold from the glacial soap and splash. Refreshing and invigorating. Nice way to jump start an early Monday morning.

Weekends are entirely too short. At least I was able to get a very good shave in to start the day. Two passes and touch ups ended just short of a perfect shave. I decided that is more than good enough for a Monday morning. A splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver and I am off to start the morning commute. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

First shave since early Friday morning. It has been quite a long time since I’ve had 72 hours of stubble. Also the first shave back home since last Tuesday. Pulled out some favourites and reliables this morning to go along with the Black Beauty as I’ll keep going on the Adjustable focus for the rest of the week.
3 passes this morning, everything performed as it should, and I am completely smooth. 3 days growth gone as easily as 1 or 2. Finishing with any CL splash is always a great way to end a shave.
On a not so positive note, the forest fire situation continues to get worse. The air is so bad that they have cancelled flights in and out of our regional airport because of air quality/visibility. We were 3 hours away this weekend, over the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, and it was almost as bad there from our BC fires. Not good times.

I can get Astra cheaper than Voskhods! Are Voskhods a step up in quality?
