Was visiting a another site and came across this jewel, this fellow has been collecting for 10 yrs + and has a extensive collection of Gillette's razors and other Gillette products. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.119629451451351&type=1&l=dbe284a073
So that's the bloke who ended up winning the lithograph used for all the blade packages auction. He got a hell of a steal on that. It's a miracle it even survived, let alone stayed out of a museum.
Well,..I'm a little confused now-I thought Proctor&(take a)Gamble now owns Gillette. But then I see these current Gillette ads with a guy speaking with a thick Boston dialect, talkinabout all he's done for Gillette.
P&G does own Gillette. But Gillette still operates a manufacturing plant in Boston, and Gillette's R&D is all done in Boston. The manufacturing plant is so that Gillette can say "some of our stuff is made in America." The vast majority of Gillette products are made overseas, of course.
