I wouldn't say they didn't fare well. I still have a vintage gillette that I have used them in before. They will get used in that for sure.

Talking about the Yellow Sharp Edge? I didn't have much luck with them the first two blades I used. Then I went away from them for a few shaves, to the Green PermaSharps (even worse), then back to a Feather. Tried the Yellow Sharp Edge again the other day to awesome results. Can't 'splain it... but now I can't totally count them out and need to try more...

    and, hello Bong.

    wchnu Duck Season!

Here is a news flash... I have a friend that owns an antique shop.. I was showing him a brass Micromatic clog proof that was nasty. He told me that i needed to put Tabasco sauce on it to break up the gunk. Folks it works.. I do not have before pics but belive me that it was nasty. it now looks great. I put the tabasco on then hit it with a tooth brush.. the brass looks great.

HE tells me that the other hot sauces do not work as well.. just a little note from the Bunny hutch.

I wish I would have known that when I still owned some gillettes. That would have been a good trick to use.

what is cheaper scrubbing bubbles or tabasco sauce?

    Anyone tried lavanda shave cream?

I only have 2 left, plus the one I'm currently using.

I would imagine tabasco would be cheaper...never been good at the Price Is Right though. Never tried Lavanda shave cream (big surprise there!)

How's work been? What do you do, btw?

Alright, I'll send you some more.

I think you are correct on the tabasco, although Ammonia is probably cheaper than both, which is what Scrubbing bubbles basically is.

Works been ok. I work in a biological research facility. I'm a glorified lab rat.

    sorry...had to go there :D

Aren't you sending enough already? I appreciate it, but you really don't have to.

Have you tried anything from Leon's site? The Portuguese stuff?

the bunny thing was actually aimed toward wchnu... :D EDIT: I see he snuck in right before my post....sneaky rabbit

but you won't catch any crap from me for testing on animals...

I think it's vintagescents, not superlather...

I used a 7 o'clock tonight Bong. Gave me a pretty good shave. I need more tests with it, and I still have others to check out. It wasn't bad though. Not saying it'll be my new go-to, but not a bad blade.

It was a balmy 72 here today. Took Jackie to the playground and the gym swimming pool. That was pretty fun.

Stopped in to Gamestop on the way home to check out the xbox. It seems to me the used stuff isn't worth it. By the time it's all said and done you've saved around 30 bucks or so...and you still have a used system. Might as well go new, but damn they're not cheap. 350 to 400 to get set up where you want to be. That's a lot of scratch for some goofy games. Frankly I'm not a huge gamer either. They're fun, but there's always too much other stuff going on to get tied to a game for too many hours. It seems like I'm talking myself out of one I know, but I'll prob. still get one just 'cause I can't resist toys.

btw I have no juice to give out custom titles. I can however recommend. :D

Shep if you are going 360 get it new, with the high failure rate of those things it's better to get the full warranty.

Maybe mine should read "Dials 911 everytime." Instead of just the plain ol' 9. EDIT: nevermind, I've passed 500 and I'm a Brush Buster now!

Which 7 O'Clock? Yellow, Green or Black?

I'm telling ya, go with Sega Genesis...dirt cheap, and games are like $3-$5! :D
