As late as 2015 TGN knots were one the prime choices for custom brushes. We have so many more choices now. However TGN still delivers a consistent quality product.

I recently picked up a couple TGN knots. I couldn't decide between the silvertip or the finest so of course I bought both. As I recall neither has shed a hair.

I had a very rough night last night. It feels almost like a flare up of diverticulitis. With this big consulting contract I really don't have the time deal with a flare up. I hope and pray that it is just a 24 hour stomach bug or something. At least I got to have a first rate shave this morning. I find the Proraso Single Edge cream to be a clear notch above the Bigelow cream with much more residual slickness. The big squeeze bag is a pain to use so I load a smaller squeeze tube for convenience. Three passes and touch ups ended in a perfect BBS shave. A operator error resulted in one weeper robbing me of an epic shave. I am off to my office for the day. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Thank you Gentlemen. The new cocktail of meds has been working so well, I had hoped I was past these issues. At least today is a light duty day at my office and if need be I can leave early.

Still working on the whole W-E, E-W neck conundrum with the straight. A small insight and a little progress today. I realized that even though the blade is several inches long, if I focus on just 1" of the blade, that's realistically all that is cutting whiskers on a curved surface. By focusing on what 1" section I was using at any given time, I was able to get my neck a little closer. Not nearly where I want to be, but getting closer in little baby steps...
I'm continuing to use the Shavemac D01 with the grooved drydock to beat the scritch out of it. Making progress in baby steps there as well.
Overall, slight progress is a good thing.
