I took the wife and girls to see Cirque du Soleil tonight. What an awesome show. It's something I've wanted to see for years. They loved it too.
Hot day + air quality alert + asthma= indoor day for Sara. So not too exciting, but productive. I got out briefly, to pick up a prescription. Then, I did 21 minutes on the stationary bike (upped the resistance today) & some step-ups, on a 4” platform. I have also gone over the checking statement and it’s only 3:15.
Timed the nap for my grandson (& myself) just right. We made it to pick up the girls before the school could call Child Protective Services. It was a good day. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
Thanks Doug! I can only take one quarter credit for this batch of young ones - they are my grandchildren. The two older ones are non-identical twins in 2nd grade born one day after my 50th B-day. Makes it easy to remember. The little guy is closing in on his 3rd trip around the sun, and I'm working on his potty training so he can go to Head Start. Are they calling that Pre-pre-kindergarden?
They are excellent looking grandchildren Rick. I thought they were your kids because you look so young. That either says a lot for you, or how bad my eyes are.
About 6 years ago I was in a line for getting my flu shot. There were "cryin'babies to the front of me, screamin' infants to the rear, there I was, stuck in the middle with them".
Been a n ice day...I'm off to the gym in a while, where I'd love for them to have an Ice-Bucket Challenge. We could use it today!!!
I did a little baking this morning. I made a batch of cheese sticks; basically sort of like shortbread cookies, with some cheese & a bit less butter. I’ve been working on refining the recipe & I got it right this time. Now I just have to type it on an index card & put it in the recipe file.
