Thanks. My wife and I make our trips out West in late September and early October. The colors are popping. Especially the Aspens and Cottonwoods. We are doing Acadia NP this Fall. Plan to do New Mexico/West Texas next Fall.
I'm on Vancouver Island right now. Here's a favourite from our trip to cathedral Grove Sent from my EML-L09 using Tapatalk
This Praying Mantis was in a plant in the front yard. These are most unusual looking creatures. I was eyeball to eyeball with this guy.
Great shot! These are a few I took. I'm a beginner, but really enjoying learning. They were shot with a Canon PowerShot S70.
I shot several pictures of Little Washington, a small town here in Virginia yesterday. They were blurry, with light streamers coming off of them. I think I was breathing too hard in some of them and did not realize it. I'll need to pay more attention to that, as none of those shots were useable.
Figured out the problem; the dial that chooses portrait, landscape, etc., somehow got knocked over to low light. Spent a couple hours today looking for something to photograph. Pics came out good.
Ahh, the increasingly common techno-confusion. I encounter this more and more often. Every check out register, my own cell phone, all electronic devices have menus to navigate. Easiest solution I've found? Hand it to a 12 year old.
Our 13 year old Granddaughter set up my and my wife's Iphone. Handing an electronic device to me at my age is like giving Superman kryptonite.
