Great report and photo, Neal. I really admire your selflessness in trying to take on the burden of all those appalling Sharp Stars to spare your shave brothers the agony!

And if I might vote on your next razor, I would suggest the Toggle. Almost anyone can shave with a modern Chinese Qshave, while the Toggle is the Original adjustable razor and almost unobtainable for most of us. In Adjustable August, it would add a touch of aristocratic hauteur to our otherwise sometimes rather plebeian offerings in this humble little thread...

 

Mine is September 25. Let the gifts roll in.

Pretty easy shave this morning with the B1. It's different than the other Schicks as far as weight and the angle has to be much more shallow. But it delivers a smooth ride nonetheless. I really enjoy this razor. Great lather from the RazoRock soap and a nice chilly finish from the splash. It has some definite menthol which is nice. Overall a nice shave.

I am feeling much better today with only a little residual abdominal pain. A excellent 3 pass shave this morning. I managed to catch the baby with touch ups on my jawline and buffing my neck. However, I spoiled an otherwise perfect shave with an operator induced weeper. A splash of CC Bay Rum and I am off to fight the Atlanta morning commute. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
