    I’ll dedicate today’s lineup to Jason @jtspartan

Things were cruising along famously. Smooth. Efficient.
Then I got to my “nemesis” - right side of my Adam’s Apple.
Greed + Incorrect Angle = Blood
On the upside, the end results are still smooth.

Razor: Blackland Saber L2 w/ Timeless Barber Pole Handle (14x85)
    Blade: Personna PTFE
    Brush: WDC-8 w/APShaveCo Cashmere
    Soap: Panna Crema Verde
    A/S: Pinaud Lime

Another excellent 2 pass shave with a touch up. This soap and razor work very well together. Very happy to be getting some good shaves again.

    Razor: FrankenTech with Bakelite Baseplate
    Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum
    Brush: Semogue 620
    Soap: Williams
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

Today was a bit of an excursion to test a theory: Will the Bakelite/Plastic baseplate from a Wartime Tech work with a newer, retail cap. It may be a bit of razor envy, but I keep seeing all these modern razors with their multiple baseplates and I've started toying with the idea of creating an Ultimate Tech Set. Basically, taking parts from my spare Techs and creating a kit with a Fat Handle, single cap, and multiple baseplates (pre-War, Bakelite, and post-War). I might also add a 60s Tech, but that would mean adding a second cap because of the different blade registration method.

For today's shave, I used a pre-War Fat Handle, baseplate from a Wartime Bakelite Tech, and frosted cap from a W2 Tech. With the Dorco blade, it's a sleeper combo- mild with little blade feel but very efficient. I'm very pleased with the results and could easily have gone sharper with the blade (i.e., 7 o'Clock Indian Green or Feather).

I may be on to something here...

Good idea. Group therapy is less expensive.
