So I was going to shave today, but I checked tracking information and I have a package coming this afternoon I'm going to wait for. I got my hands on an unopened Lavender Creeper in a raffle, and traded it for a Tangerine Creeper. That should be here this afternoon, along with a new straight. So I am waiting for those to show before I shave.

    Blackland Dart
    Rapira Platinum Lux (4)
Stirling Boar Brush (24mm, Frigate class)
Jeeves Of Hudson Street 'Bay Rum'
    Barbasol Pacific Rush Balm

I finished Aggressive August the way it started, with the Blackland Dart. This razor remains the two pass king in my den, though demands respect and attention while using it.

I started the month with the goal of comparing my most "aggressive" razors to each other while using the Dart as my benchmark. I didn't get through my whole list but I did manage to shave with the following razors:

    Blackland Dart
    Rex Ambassador (6.5)
    Above the Tie H2
    Fatip Picolo
    PAL Injecto-Matic
    Cooper MonoBilt
    Leresche #34
    Gillette Fatboy (9)

Only two razors beside the Dart were able to pull of the two pass BBS, the Rex and the ATT H2 (though the Fatboy came close). Its been a fun month and I look forward to seeing you all for SEptember! Have a nice long weekend everyone, you deserve it!

    ALSO, TGIF!!!

That's good info on the Mastro Miche soaps. Based on your thoughts, I would stay away from the Farinik version (should I ever order any of it).
FWIW, the Champs isn't a straight up lavender. It's there, to be sure, but there are other scents at play too. No attempt at enabling, just for informational purposes.

    Happy Friday, fellas!

Lazy morning today so I decided to grab a quick shave with about a half days growth. I'm nice and smooth and smelling good.

I spent the majority of the month completing my thirty consecutive shaves with the Timeless .95. Excellent shaves! I finished my focus with time to join in on adjustable August with the Rex Ambassador, more great shaves.

I don't have an SE, so September will be spent with my ATT S1 and Stirling soaps.

Here's to a great September! [IMG]

I am not an expert in the field of blades. These blades were bought at the nearest store. I take these blades, in this design of packaging. And these blades seemed to me sharp, soft / smooth, and economical (can be used many times, without loss of sharpness and comfort). Recently, I began to use coconut oil, as a preliminary shave. Coconut oil (very little), I put on dry skin before shaving, and rubbed. Quite enough time to prepare a razor, and do 'generation' of foam. Foam I put on the face in sufficient volume, not flushing coconut oil (thin film). After that, I start shaving. With oil, shaving is much more pleasant. My skin says this))). Oil, this is a very small detail of shaving, but brings good results. You can try shaving with olive oil, or another oil).

Thank you Jason. I’m not sure what I want to do on Sundays going forward. I’ll have to make up my mind soon.
