I like ToBS rose ok. My favorite is Soap Commander. It is a true rose. I have a tube of GEO F Trumpers rose that is very nice too.

 

Beautiful razor. I have a M2 I think. Very nice shavers.

Catie's Bubbles makes a nice one too. It's on the very short list of soaps I've managed to polish off a tub of.

 

Is it a sweet rose scent? I have yet to try any of those soaps.

 

It has been a while, but I don't remember it being overly sweet. Just a straight rose scent.

Just wish my Original SE-G shaved like this one. An excellent Shave no doubt assisted by the superb Lather from the soap. Could well be the best of the Shaves I have had with it, since I received the base plate to try out.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
Blade: GEM PTFE
Razor: GEM G-Bar
Brush: JR #142 black badger
Soap: Stirling Piacenza
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Piacenza aftershave

Wonderful shave with the G-Bar. Nice weight with this razor. This blade was at the end so I binned it once the shave was over. But nice all around otherwise. Have a great day!
