ER did not make a Damaskeene. As for ER and Gem 1912 models...they look and shave the same to me.

 

Ahhh. The Auto Strop A1. I stropped the vintage blade with my reproduction strop. It seemed to help. A few more shaves should tell for sure. The cheap horse reknot is still shedding but damn it does a good job with the Stirling spice.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face lathered well with the B-400 Brush by Tom. I did two passes with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
