Who in the world did you get so mad that they sent you to Topeka?!?!?! Man, I'd apologize to everyone just to make sure you get that problem solved and never have to go back! (Is my prejudice showing much?)
Maya was quick to point out how good the basketball program was. I am sure we will have a good time and you can rest assured I will be cheering for Kentucky to beat South Carolina.
I really can't imagine anyone in here being a closet member of any organization. We're all sane, calm, normal individuals with no need for flights of fancy or strong opinions about anything other than the quality of shaves. Now, please excuse me. I need to answer the phone in my shoe.
Boris was drunk? Who saw that coming. I'll try to appear shocked.......nope.....can't even pull that off.
Speed reading is a help around here. Also a day off so I can sit and take it all in. But yeah - busy place as always. Nice to see the Veg! Long live the Veg!
September Focus MWF/Cavendish~~Stirling 24mm Finest~~'38 Gillette Senator~~Perma-Sharp (2)~~B&M Classic Focus gear: B&M Classic AS MWF The MWF/Cavendish has rebounded nicely to be free of cracking. Easier loading---still bloomed. This Stirling brush always amazes me. With every use, I am more and more convinced that this brush is the best badger brush value available today. Gobs of lanolin-rich lather proved to be too much for my whiskers. The Perma-Sharp, loaded into my Gillette Senator, scythed away the stubble smoothly. Post-shave-lanolin goodness abounds on my oh-so-good-looking kisser. (Seeing who actually is reading my report...) Barrister & Mann Classic. Huh. I chose this sample over the "Spice", because I thought the "Spice" was the Old Spice dupe... Wrong. THIS is a Shulton Old Spice dupe. And a good one at that. Man, am I curious about the "Spice" AS, which is on deck for tomorrow.
More MWF goodness. Love it. And who says you don't have a good looking kisser? I think you're quite the looker myself.
Thanks Andrew. I am unfamiliar with the Sun Up. Never even heard the words until reading them in your post. All I know is, when I opened up the B&M sample and took a whiff, I immediately compared it to my Shulton OS. Unless I have completely lost my olfactory faculties, they were almost identical. Really, really close. This is from the B&M website: "Some days, you need an aftershave but you don’t want a fragrance that’s in your face all day. Enter Barrister’s Reserve® Classic. Inspired by 60s vintage aftershaves, Classic’s clean, slightly powdery notes of citrus, lavender, moss, and sandalwood will keep you cool, calm, and collected for as long as you need to be." https://www.barristerandmann.com/products/barristers-reserve-classic-aftershave-splash "Inspired by 60s vintage aftershaves" is ambiguous at best. I am looking forward using the "Spice" tomorrow and comparing. If someone knows for sure that I am incorrect, I would appreciate knowing.
Great photo, Joseph! Thanks for the commentary about the Barrister and Mann splashes. Also glad to hear the Stirling brush is a good value. I really like badger brushes but don't need a new one anytime soon.
