Today's shave was with a Japanese "Pimp Stick". It has the bling, but definitely Not on my top ten. It delivers a good shave, but I expect better. I had an OK 2 pass shave, with a few touch-ups, that left me with a DFS. Not the usual for Japanese Steel.

Spent some time grating up a puck of Williams and pressing it around another puck in the Old Spice mug. Had a wonderful shave today, two passes and touch up for a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

Great setup Steve. I may be in the minority but i like that soap just fine.

This will be my second time there. The first was some years ago. I did an open water kayak crossing from the Canadian side and then a circumnavigation and camping for a week with some friends before returning. No kayaking over miles of 1000+ feet deep 42 degree water this time. I’m a little saner now. Taking the ferry from Copper Harbor.

Sane, we'll that's no fun.
