No pic today, sorry.
Four days growth was swept away effortlessly by the wonderful Cobra, aided on its way by the equally wonderful OSP Bay Rum soap.
Talking of Bay Rum my search may be over.
The Black Bay goes on with a mild menthol feel which tones the skin nicely, and once the opening note of pond water dies down, (only about 5-10 secs), the lovely warm bay appears, with no sweetness nor no top lip numbing cloves.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom. I did two passes with the Schick Golden 500 Razor with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Maggard Limes & Bergamot today. 20 seconds to load John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless still in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Bentley Intense aftershave.

Wow, what a shave this was - it's really a pity Giovanni had to leave the wetshaving business because he had such great stuff. A little blooming and the Mentolo's lovely scent really came out, it gave me tons of beautiful lather, and the menthol felt so invigorating. The Prep went on so cooling and soothing!

 

Nice Jim. I notice the Grand Bay. Are you happy with it? I find it a wonderful splash, which is almost identical to Dominica Bay Rum.

 

It's so weird. When I reply to your post I SEE your photo until I hit "Post" and then it disappears. In your original post, I just see an "X".

All I see is the X, either way.

 

Short Comb New (proper SC cap)/PolSilver (2). The Karve handle makes this a more enjoyable shave but just a bit of surprising irritation (not typically a problem for me). Possibly a bit of damage to the blade edge when I dropped it in the sink, mental note to write off the 16 cents next time.
